Audition Information
Combination Video - Dancers will need to learn the filmed combination video provided to you through our 2026 Nutcracker Audition Website. This combination is what will be performed during auditions.
BAND Group - Join the 2026 Nutcracker BAND Group prior to audition submission! This app will be our main line of basic communication, along with email. This group will have additional information necessary for auditions & production.
What to Include - Be sure to include a headshot and arabesque photo with your audition form, all due by May 2nd. If you are auditioning via video, this will also be due May 2nd.

General Information
Who can participate?
ALL dancers ages 3+ can participate in our annual Nutcracker performance. Dancers are required to attend ballet and pointe classes at Rockwall Dance Academy for Summer and Fall. Auditions are held each year in May, choreography is taught each year in July and then dancers will begin bi-monthly practices on Saturday's in September.
When is it?
Auditions are held in May of each year. Our estimated performance date is usually mid-December. Performance dates are finalized when we are allowed to finalize our venue.
